 September 25, 2008-   Detroit, Michigan- Equity in Partnership Educational Services is pleased to announce the following grant awards for Operation: Stunning, an after-school program for girls ages 13-17 within the city of Detroit which focuses on self-esteem, substance abuse prevention and conflict resolution.   The Michigan Council of  Arts and Cultural Affairs, The Junior League of Detroit,  Sojourner Foundation and the Youth Development Commission have provided funding to launch Operation: Stunning within the Cody/Rouge neighborhood on Detroit’s Westside.   Operation: Stunning starts in October 2008.  The Board of Directors is extremely pleased about the awards and is ready to make a difference within the community.  

 
Michigan Council of Arts and Cultural Affairs $4,000 


                    The Junior League of Detroit               $2,000


Sojourner Foundation       $2,500

 

Youth Development Commission    $7,500


Volunteer Your Time
